MMS provides six core services for clients from qualitative market research, Ad Boards and Focus Groups to the development and launch of value services and solutions via outcome driven, interactive workshops, reports and Clinical Commissioning News. The six services are (see diagram below)



After spending seven years marketing in the pharmaceutical industry, Clive conducted extensive market research into healthcare planning and delivery in both the USA and UK.  This resulted in becoming Group Commercial Director for Takare, the largest provider of nursing homes in the UK and subsequently Business Development Director for Court Cavendish. 

During this time Clive pioneered the development of the Private Finance Initiative negotiating over 20 partnership contracts with Health Authorities, Health Boards, Trusts and Local Authority Social Services.  These covered a range of projects from designing, building and running care homes for NHS patients to the development of Community Care Centres providing nursing, residential, respite, day and home-care services.

Ten years ago Clive started Medical Management Services (UK) Ltd a healthcare management consultancy specialising in developing market access strategies for pharma companies and independent healthcare provider targeted to payers, providers, regulators and patients. MMS clients include the NHS (CCGs, Trusts, NICE, CGC and the DH) and all the major pharma companies. MMS therefore understands the needs of both and develop bespoke, value added services and solutions for companies to work in partnership with the NHS where medicine meets managements.

During this time MMS have organised multidisciplinary, outcome driven bespoke workshops involving over 32,000 NHS decision makers, culminating:

  • Action Plans to redesign services and care pathways
  • NICE Implementation Action Plans
  • Commissioning Business plans and toolkits
  • Actions to develop personalised planning and self management
